Important Announcement:

As of the 1st of July 2009, Queensland Transport and Main Roads have introduced a Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS)
This means new riders will  be able to get an RE licence and be allowed to ride certain motorcycles above 250cc and below 660cc based on a power to weight system of 150kw per tonne.

A list of the approved LAMS bikes is available on the Queensland Transport website.

Q-ride is for those who would like to be safe, skilled and competent riders 

Q-ride licencing for beginners and people who are already riding 

Advanced training 1 and 2 day courses for after Q-ride

Our Mission

We take great pride and joy in our work and would like to put back some of the enjoyment, safety and knowledge we have gained from over 70 combined years riding experience into the hands of the novice rider so they can safely partake in the joys of motorcycling as well.  

The aim of Ridabike staff and management is ,to create the benchmark standards by which other providers base the training and to provide riders with the skills, knowledge and attitude to become good safe competent users of our public roads.

Whether you wish to take up motorcycle riding as a hobby, enjoying those balmy spring afternoons in some exotic rainforest location with new found friends, or the need to get a bike license for business (Australia post contracts immediately spring to mind) RIDABIKE is the training and tuition school for you. We are all fully accredited with Both certificate III & IV rider training certification and Certificate IV in assessment and workplace training, enabling us to issue a competency based certificate for you to exchange for a motorcycle licence.
